East End Preschool is a non-profit parent cooperative Preschool and Kindergarten Program. As a parent cooperative, East End Preschool views education as a partnership between parents and teachers. We encourage all families to volunteer within the center through either the Parent Board or special events. Ask the office how you can volunteer!
Our children make discoveries about themselves and the world around them while accepting and respecting differences in people.
Students and teachers of any race, religion, nationality and ethnic origin are welcome. EEP does not discriminate in administration of its educational or admission policies.
Small classes and individualized attention encourage a creative, expressive environment while nurturing a sense of independence and ownership of the process of learning.
EEP’s exemplary staff are experienced in early childhood development and are carefully selected by our Parent Board.
EEP has a center based teaching style which enhances cross curriculum learning with lessons organized around themes. Class curriculum incorporates sensory exploration, language & reading, fine motor & gross motor skills, science, art, music & movement, and math readiness.
Kindergarten is fostered through hands on learning. Small class size and half day program makes it possible for children to learn at their own rate.
